Over half of the students in Cuyahoga County live in poverty. As their families struggle for meals and clothing, new school supplies – or any school supplies at all – cannot take priority. With the help of our generous donors, we can ensure that no child goes without the necessary tools for education.
Since 2001, Kids In Need has been able to expand and serve over 250 schools, impacting more than 140,000 students in Northeast Ohio. We thank you for your new or continued support of the Kids in Need mission.
Every $100 donation enables us to distribute $1,400 in school supplies for disadvantaged students.
Kids In Need receives no government funding or support from United Way. We rely on donations from individuals, corporations and grants to support the cost of maintaining the facilities and operations of the Resource Center. Your dollars will allow us to continue to grow and help more children in our community.

Cleveland Kids In Need Resource Center is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization and charitable contributions are tax-deductible to the fullest extent of the law.
Kids In Need brings in $1.5 million of brand new, nationally-donated supplies from major companies like Elmers, Ticonderoga, Office Max and many others.
Additionally, companies or organizations that are re-branding, moving or simply cleaning house may find they have a surplus of like-new products/ materials. Instead of sending these items to land fills, they can be put to good use.
The supplies teachers ask for the most include: construction paper, copy paper, filler paper, pencils, pens, markers, colored pencils, and crayons (24-pack).
The Resource Center accepts product donations year round to help stock its shelves. If you'd like to make a contribution, please contact Kids In Need at 216.361.0840 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
